BF2Updater

What is it?

BF2Updater is a tool, which downloads and installs newest patches and tools to keep your BF2 up to date and playable.

Which patches and tools will it install?

- Patch v1.1 (install before Special Forces, usually packed with SF, but if you haven't got SF, you don't have to install it)

- Patch v1.41 (important, install before Patch 1.50)

- Patch v1.50 (important, includes Euro Force and Armored Fury packs)

- Alt+Tab Fix (install after Patch 1.50)

- BF2Hub (important if you want to play multiplayer, after installation open BF2Hub and patch required files)

- DirectX 9.0c (usually packed with BF2 installation, but sometimes it just doesn't work ;)

- PunkBuster (packed with BF2 installation, you need it for multiplayer)

Do I need to have original BF2 DVD?

You have to have BF2 CD-KEY and some DVD, USB or ISO with BF2 setup files.

Do I have to pay for it?

No! It's completely free! :)

HDD: 500 kB + 3 GB for all downloads

.NET Framework 2 and 4

TESTED ONLY WITH DVD VERSION OF BF2. STEAM/ORIGIN VERSIONS MIGHT NOT WORK

Oops, I have Windows XP... What should I do?

I'm sorry, but I don't plan any support for Windows XP. This system can't view HTTPS via TLS 1.1 or newer and download server is, like many other sites, using TLS 1.2. Version for XP would be difficult to make. So I decided to not make it. But you can download all files HERE!
